Crappy Mood = Crappy Outfits! 4/15/08

I wanted to edit this post because it is so negative and I am sooo NOT negative. Its just that I have been dealing w/ some issues lately and its a new situation for me. I have to hold my composure! I WILL NO LONGER let it control my life or, perhaps more importantly, how I dress! I will rise above all this mess and smile my way through the one life I have! No more crappy mood for me! I hope that you will never have a crappy mood. But if you do, just remember to rise above it and remind yourself of all the good things in your life! Life is GOOD! ;)

Do you ever feel like your outfits match your mood? For some reason, I’ve been feeling very crappy lately and my outfits have matched my mood! I hope that this phase will be over soon because I’m tired of not looking CUTE! When I don’t look cute, no picture will be taken of me. Its just like, if I don’t have make-up on, don’t bother taking a picture of me!

Today was one of my crappiest days. Although it ended okay -- we went for drinks and bowling to celebrate 4/15! I hope tomorrow will be a better day --for you AND me! =)

Another LAZY Sunday + "Regular" Outfit - 4/13/08

I really HATE lazy Sundays, sometimes! It is super sunny out -- 80 degrees today and I am at home on my comfortable couch, like a couch potato! I want to be at the beach soo bad! I went to the beach yesterday, after many months of not going! I love being at the beach, it makes me feel sooo relaxed!! The sun in your face, this large body of water.. Anyway, I hope you are relaxing on this gorgeous Sunday afternoon!

I went to Banana Republic after work on Friday and picked up 3 pairs of striped slacks for $30 each! I had a 15% off coupon! I also went to Nordstroms and picked up 4 --- YES FOUR!! --- pairs of heels. Pics to come!! =)

Graduation Gear - 4/13/2008

OMG, I graduate in a month! I’m sooo excited. I bought my cap & gown along w/ three, yes, THREE, tassels! I really can’t wait until I graduate!

Of course there is so much to do prior to then:

1. I have to still get my picture taken! That means taking the time to get dolled-up..

2. I need to buy some gifts for my family and myself!

• For myself: A school sweater and a degree frame (the one that can frame my tassel too).
• For my family: A mug or a shotglass (maybe)..

Here is a close up of my tassels. I plan on framing the black tassel w/ the crystals. The brown one indicates which school I graduated from (there are many "schools" at my university). The red & black tassel indicate my school colors!

My Birthday present from my lovely BF!!

I just wanted to share the one present I received from my birthday with you all!

My BF wrapped it all by himself! I know, I find joy in the smallest things. Here is his LOVELY wrapping! I totally love it =)

Jewelry Purchase - 4/8/07

I apologize for not having my outfits up lately. I have been super busy with work and school is winding down! I can’t wait to graduate! I will be purchasing my cap & gown tomorrow. I would really like to go get my pictures taken with it. I just have to clear a Saturday morning to totally get ready!

I recently purchased some jewelry. I LOVE jewelry. I hate “real” jewelry because I’m so rough on my jewelry. I love cheap, costume jewelry! This ring was one of my favorite purchases!! It is soo cute! I can wear it with anything! It looks like bangles!

I really think that adding the right amount of jewelry to any outfit can make such a big difference. I used to be anti-jewelry because it bugged me to wear them, but finding cheap ones that I don't care about makes it so much better! I still can't really wear bracelets because it annoys me, but I'm slowing getting used to it!

Hilary Duff's Lucky Magazine Cover Outfit - 4/6/08

My birthday came and went. It was fun times but I always feel bittersweet about my birthday. Perhaps it’s because I almost never get what I want on my birthday.. In any case, I can always buy what I want! ;)

Below is today’s outfit. I saw the cover of Lucky Magazine a while back and loved Actress/Singer Hilary Duff’s skirt. I saw a skirt that looked similar to it at Ross, so naturally I HAD to buy it! In addition, it was only about $10!

In reference to Hilary’s outfit, I love the bold colors but I don’t think I would EVER wear those 2 colors together! It looks super cute on her though!

By the way, my outfit was not picked out of inspiration from her cover photo like I wished I would have! I will, however, try to recreate this look in the future! Keep a look out! =)

Happy Birthday to me! 4/4/08

My birthday is fast approaching! I wait all year for my special day! I decided to dream and created my own birthday “wish list.”

1. Number one of my list is this Chanel bag! This is completely unrealistic but a girl can definitely dream! OMG, I want it so bad! Red is my favorite color! I love how large the bag is. I need a large bag since I lug my laptop around everyday!


2. I really want this M.A.C. make-up storage. All of my make-up is in a file box right now. I hope that this would be big enough to hold ALL of my make-up!

3. A VACATION! Anywhere! I really love to just relax for a couple of days.



4. Okay, a little more realistic: Mariah Carey’s new album E=MC^2!! Out April 15th, I can’t wait!!



5. M.A.C. Make-up - I want eye shadow palettes! I want one filled w/ Brown Eyeshadows!!


6. Macaroons!! I love macaroons! I should ask my friend, who is going to Paris, to pick me up some!!

Kristen Davis Outfit - 4/2/08

So I have been having hard days lately and have come to love this motto: LET IT GO! I hope that these 2 words can help someone out there. Whatever you are dealing with, LET IT GO!! =)

Today’s outfit was one of those outfits where I only have 5 minutes to put together, make that 2 minutes. I love the clothes that I purchase because it effortlessly goes together well.
