Motivation Outfit! - 11/16/2008
Here is my motivation speech to you:
HEY! If you want to do something, today is the day to get started! Put one foot in front of the other and get that process started. No matter what it is and no matter how hard it is; YOU CAN DO IT! Immerse yourself in whatever it is and know that it takes time. Don’t rush it. Know that during the process, it will be hard but don't give up! The rewards and benefits you see tomorrow will far outweigh what you are feeling today. =)
My mom, after owning her own business for more than 20 years, has decided to become a nurse! This is the advice I give her when she is feeling like she can’t accomplish something. And there is nothing that she cannot accomplish!
I hope this helps you in your journey in life. If not, come back when you need it. =)

Crunch Time Outfit - 11/13/08
I stopped by Mervyn’s today since they are having a “going out of business” sale. Most items were 40% off while some were 50-60% off. I am waiting for it to be 90% off, LOL! They have some cute stuff but seriously, the reason why they are going out of business is because their prices are so darn high! Who shops at Mervyn’s?? Even WITH the discount, there was nothing worth buying.
I was looking at a jewelry box, it was $60!!! And it wasn’t a fancy jewelry box either! I could get a cute mirrored jewelry box at Things Remembered for $60! Sorry to say but I am GLAD Mervyn’s is going out of business. It was just a waste of space. Just my honest opinion. o=)

I’ve ordered a new camera but it had a manufacturer defect so now it’s being repaired by warranty. I really HATE not having a camera!! I only have my Blackberry camera to use but the picture quality is grainy.

Election Day Outfit! - 11/4/08
Right now I am glued on NBC! I can’t wait to see the winner of this contest and some other issues that I voted on. =)
There is something really funny about Election Day. People wear this “I Voted” sticker with such pride! I didn’t wear my sticker to work but everyone at work wore it and they wore it with this great honor. It’s something I can’t explain, it's just really interesting to experience.
In addition, I learned today that you can earn money turning your space into a Poll site! Here is someone’s garage turned into a Poll site. I thought it was hilarious! The American Flag adds a nice touch.
Moving on... I love the dress that I wore today! It was super comfy and cute! I love the
Dresses are soo fun to wear! I wish I can buy more dresses!!

Old Navy Haul - Pink Top - 11/2/08
I purchased this cute silk pink top at Old Navy for about $7! It might be a little low-cut for me but nothing a cami or tank top can’t cover up! =P
I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend! November is here and that means the holiday season is fast approaching! I LOVE this time of the year!! It’s all about togetherness! =)
Cleveland, Ohio Trip + Marriott Rant - 11/3/08
Cleveland, overall, was an okay experience. People were friendly and the city is very cute. Not to mention clean!
Upon arrival, I was assisted by..lets call her “B”. She initially seemed pleasant. I learned no rooms were available for a couple of hours. I was kind of shocked because I had a reservation. But I didn't really care since I had a meeting to go to in less than an hour. I told her that I only needed a room to change into my clothes. She shrugged her shoulders at me, suggesting to me that she didn’t care! But then offered a restroom for me to change in.
The bed looks nice but there was a stain in one of the beds! Gross! I took a pic of it but it came out too blurry..
I liked the showerhead in my room..
Marriott Hamburger (Menu stated $13, I was charged $14) – “Crispy bacon, aged cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion service with a pickle and fries.”
Delicious!! Tasted like steak on a bun!
Strawberry Shortcake Dessert – This dessert was very tasty! I was too full to eat the entire thing but I wished I did!! YUMM!
Cheese Pizza ($7.99) – NOT good! Lean Cuisine pizza’s are WAYYY better! =P
Pizza from a bar in downtown Cleveland, I forgot the name of the bar..

Turning Back Time! - 11/2/08
I like turning back time! I get to wake up earlier for a couple of days. Then somehow my body gets used to the time change and I get back to waking up late! Today I woke up at 6am!! Yippee for waking up early! =P
Anyway, this outfit was from last week. It is a super conservative outfit as I had to help with interviewing potential candidates for a position. It's really fun helping with the HR process! I love getting to know people!
