Ross had their Dress Week sale again & I picked up this gorgeous Dress! The detail on this dress is soo cute! It is made of Satin! Oh how I love the feel of Satin. It’s not cotton, which I feel is more comfortable but HEY! Who cares, the dress is too adorable!

Do you always wear a Belt? – 3/25/09
Someone asked me the most random question today: “Do you always wear a Belt?”
I found it amusing but when I seriously thought about it..the answer made me think..
Why DO I wear belts so often?? So often enough to get this random question!
Let me count the reasons:

should be!

Victoria Secret Haul! – 3/22/09
I went a little underwear crazy. LOL! About 99% of my underwear was purchased from Victoria Secret. I guess I never really shopped anywhere else for underwear. I really like to shop at Victoria Secret when they have great sales!
So..I purchased 14 pairs of underwear! They are having a 7 for $25 sale! On top of that, I received $5 off when trying on their new bra, "The Perfect One"! So 7 undies for $20!
BUT WAIT! There’s more! They are also giving away Secret Reward Cards with every purchase! OMG, what a deal!
For those who don’t know what the Victoria Secret “Secret Reward Card” is – it’s like a gift card, with a minimum of $10. But if you are LUCKY, the Secret Reward Card may contain $20, $50, $100, or $500!! OMG! I’m never lucky with anything! Actually I told my sister that with my luck, I wouldn’t be surprised to get $1 instead of the minimum $10! (Of course there is $10 but I'm just saying!!) LOL! =P

I’ve been drooling over Tan-colored pumps lately. I really, really NEED tan pumps! I have a pair but I want more!

H&M Haul! – 3/21/09
I’ve caught the BUG! The flu bug that is. I usually don’t get super sick, where I have to stay in bed and take medicine. I get the sick where it lingers on & is just annoying! For instance, right now – I have half of a stuffy nose, am congested, & have a headache! Oh yeah..and I am super tired..but what is new with that?! =P

St. Patrick’s Day Outfit! – 3/17/09
My St. Patrick’s Day Outfit is here! I took the day as an excuse to wear a dress! I found it in my closet this morning! I get soo excited when I wear dresses!
I also wore my new Silver Metallic Waist belt that I purchased this past weekend! I usually don’t wear stuff that I purchase so quickly but I just LOVE this belt soo much I really HAD to!

New York & Co Metallic Waist Belt Haul! – 3/17/09
I purchased this really cute Silver Metallic Waist Belt (By New York & Co.) at Ross over the weekend! It was only $4.99!! Now that I think about it, I should have purchased the black one too! I LOVE this belt! I love it more because it actually fits! Its soo darn hard to find a waist belt that actually fits me!

Happy Sunday! - 3/15/09
Happy Sunday!
I had an unusual weekend. I didn’t work, even though I was supposed to! I played a little bit of a rebel but needed the relaxation! Now I feel guilty so I am trying to get my head off the subject!
I wanted to custom-frame a poster for my BF so I went to Michael’s to purchase a frame and gosh darn-it, frames are so darn expensive! The total for my custom-frame w/ a custom mat was $190! That’s after a 40% discount!! I ended up purchasing the custom mat for $33 and an off-the-shelf frame for $25 (after 40% off) = Total of $58! It is NOT as nice as the custom-frame would have looked (it was black w/ RED accents!) but this should suffice!
Anyway, I open up the Sunday ads and find a 50% off coupon for Michael’s so I will be making a trip there to return the frame, which I purchased for only 40% off to re-purchase it for 50% off. Shhhh, don’t tell them!
I took another NAP today! Can you believe it? TWO Sundays in a row! It feels soo gooodd! I love it!
On to watching Desperate Housewives and Celebrity Apprentice!

How To: Shop the Clearance Racks!
I love shopping the clearance section & outlet stores but realized there is a lot that you have to look for when shopping the way I shop! I (quickly) put together some helpful hints for the next time you shop the clearance racks:
1. Check for Missing Buttons: I always check to see if all buttons are present. If a button is missing and I really like the item, I check to see if an extra button is attached. Buttons are very easy to sew back on!
2. Check for Stains: Stains are always a NO-BUY for me. Some stains to check for:
> Neck stains – If people try on the shirts, neck stains may result. This is grosses me out!
> Crotch stains (gross I know!) - Usually located inside trousers. This occurs when girls try on trousers when wearing no underwear. Super gross! Come on people!
> Lipstick stains – The most popular stain. I hate it.
3. Check for Damages & Other Irregularities: Take the time to look at the item you are about to purchase! Check for loose threads, missing attachments (for example some items come with Belts & it could be missing), etc.
4. Check the price! This is a No-brainer! Price is important!
> If there is no price tag, ask an employee to check the price! You never know how much it is going to cost & some stores offer a discount because no price tag was attached to the item!
5. Sort! I always grab everything I like from the clearance section then I go to a nice quiet area to rummage through my stack.
I usually make 3 stacks:
a) YES!
b) Maybe's &
c) No way's.
I immediately put the No-way items back on the shelf.
I put the Maybe items on top of my stack. When I reach the cashier, I check the prices on the Maybe items first. This is to see what the final price is or if there are any additional discounts.

Polka Dot Top - Wet Seal Haul! – 3/14/09
I usually only purchase cotton tops because other fabrics (especially polyester) just do not mix with my chemistry! In other words, I don’t like way it feels when I sweat (not that I sweat a lot!) and I don’t like the way it smells either (not that it smells bad!). I’m not getting far with this explanation..lol! I give up..
Anywhoo.. I recently purchased this top & I believe that it is silk (or some combination of). I am trying to wear other fabrics since that's where all the cute tops are made out of!
I love this top because it is easy to pair with simple black trousers (which I recently realized I do not have any of!) or a simple black skirt! I love the puffy sleeves & ruffles! Such a cute top!

Another Red Sweater Haul - 3/8/09
Do you ever buy something just because you just want to buy something? Ugh! I do it too many times!
When I was in Chicago, I purchased this Red sweater. I really like it but when I got home, I added it to my collection of Red sweaters and realized that I have too many!! Why do I continue to purchase things I already have???! I will never understand myself?! But I don’t really care hehe =P

TAKE A NAP Outfit! - 3/8/09
I really hate being busy all the time. I really can’t enjoy life or even sleep well! I’ve been working lonnggg hrs (last night, or should I say this morning, I worked until 4am!). There was even a day where I went without eating lunch or dinner! Omg, I will NEVER do that ever again!!
Today, I forced myself NOT to be busy. I even took a NAP today! I am soo against naps! Don’t get me wrong, I love TAKING naps but I don’t take them because I don’t have the time nor do I want to waste the time! Back to my nap: WOW, it felt GREAT to fall asleep during the day!! I feel soo refreshed! Ready for another 60 hr workweek, lol.
