Christmas in Chicago! (Pic heavy)

I was in Chicago for Christmas. It was sooo beautiful!! I loved the atmosphere & the snow!! It was really cold but I had soo much fun roaming the city!

I absolutely love Chicago!

We stayed at the Inn of Chicago, right near the Gorgeous Michigan Avenue or Magnificent Mile! Here is a shot of the view from our hotel room!

Forever 21:

Guess:

They had their own DJ spinning inside the store! I couldn't hear myself shop..
Sear’s Tower in a fog! I really wanted a Sear’s Tower Christmas Ornament! But it was $40!!

Millennium Park had these cool looking screens w/ people’s faces on them!

Daytime:

Twilight:
The Infamous “Bean” near Millennium Park. Such a gorgeous site!

Daytime:

Super sunny day! Made the shot soo beautiful!

A foggy night shot. Just a cool. COOL BEANS!

Gorgeous Ice Skating Rink in Millennium Park. I love the beautiful city buildings as a back drop!

The Amphitheater..

CNA Building (I think that is what is called..):

I like this building bc its RED!!

Chicago is known for their yummy Deep Dish Pizzas. We ate at 2 well-known Pizza places called Giordano’s & Gino’s East. Both pizza’s were sooo yummy!! Gosh! I really want one right now..

From Gino's East:

We did take-out in order to avoid standing in line for hours!

Look how thick it is!!

Giordano’s:

We got there before they opened to avoid huge lines!

Wow Bao:
We tried this place because of the funny name and it ended being Soo delicious!! We ate it twice! OMG, I’m craving one right now!! I love the Mongolian Beef!!

YUMMY BUNSSS:

I LOVEEE GARRETTS!!!!
Please send me some!!!
Macy’s (on State Street):
Totally makes it feel like Christmas all over again looking at this photo! I love the decorations!
Window Displays:

John Hancock Observatory:

We went up this Observatory rather than Sear’s Tower. Instead of waiting an hour and a half for the Sear’s Tower, we went up immediately! And there was NO crowd!

Breathtaking view!

I sat there and stared out the window for a good 10 minutes!
Navy Pier:
It was 27 degrees! Surprisingly, I was not that cold!

Soldier Field:
Wrigley Field! Such an iconic site!

Cellular Field (White Sox):

Chinatown:
Where I bought ALL of my souvenirs for very cheap!! Budget spending on vacation!
Hyde Park: Obama's neighborhood:
We tried to look for his old home but got lost..

Chicago really loves Obama:

Museums:

We went to ALL of the museums! We bought the City Pass and a bus pass! Went ALL over Chicago!

Adler Planetarium:
Shedd Aquarium:

Museum of Science & Industry:
Field Museum:
Zoolights at Lincoln Park!

Chicago Tribune w/ the Pitchfork couple!

Snow!! I LOVE Snow!!
My Uggs getting Uglier!

Frozen River:
Frozen Lake Michigan!
Bye Chicago! I'll miss you!
Lastly, My BF and I..

I’m back! Outfit – 1/12/09

Hello! I’m back!

My tooth hurts!
My tooth has been bothering me soo bad lately. I have this bad habit of playing with a sharp part of my lower back tooth. It is such a bad habit! It makes my tongue sore!! Why do I do it?? I have noo clue. I think it has to do with stress… Anywhooo!

Layoffs Sucks!
Layoffs are always so sad. I’ve been through it before and am starting to feel that anxiety again. I feel so bad for anyone who has lost their job. It is really hard times right now & if you are going through this, just know that better times will come. Or take it as an opportunity to do something that you’ve always wanted to do!!

I’m back! Outfit!
Bebe Jacket w/ Cream & white sleeve details & matching buttons
– I love this jacket! Its cropped!
Banana Republic Cream Pants in Martin Fit
H&M Black Silk top – Only $10!
Carlos Santana Heels in Gold

2009 New Year's Resolution! - 1/2/09

My New Year’s Resolution!

I love starting the New Year with setting Resolutions. It gives me a chance to reflect my accomplishments during the past year and allows me to set goals (attainable ones!) for myself. So here are my 2009 New Year’s resolutions:

1. To be HAPPY! This is always at the top of my list. It most important! Attainable? Only if you put your mind to it!

2. To get all my XXXX that I am studying for! I can’t tell you what it is bc it would give away too much! But this is my priority this year! Hopefully, I will be there this time next year!

3. To save more money! I reached my goal last year!! I am going to try to double it this year!

4. After Goal #2 is completed, I would like to get my Masters’! So for 2009, I need to start getting ready for it by taking the GMAT & applying!

5. After Goal #2 is completed,, I would like to go to Japan or Italy! This might have to spill over in 2010 but I can plan it now!

One goal I wish I can put on this list is to purchase a home. But that is not attainable! Only a dream for now!

I can't believe its 2009! Anyway, I hope you gals have a wonderful weekend! You know where I’ll be! (in the library, just in case you don’t know!) ;)

Happy New Year!! - 1/1/09

Happy New Year Everyone! I was on vacation in Chicago during Christmas! We have pics later! I’ve been seriously MIA due to the holidays and another exam I have coming up (Jan 10th! Yikes!). I hope to be back into the swing of things after the 10th. I am scheduling a hair appointment after the exam!

Anyway, I hope you all had a very safe & festive holiday season. It is really sad to have it all fly by so fast. Its 2009! I really can’t believe it!

For now, I have to get back to studying! =(
