Michelle Williams looks absolutely stunning here! I will have to imitate this outfit when I get off of bed rest! (Btw – I am still on bed rest for a couple of weeks, so bear with me!)

Her dress is adorable, yet sleek! I love the short length, showing off her gorgeous stems! The Fitted Bodice Mini Dress in Black Astro is from SUNO’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection.

She is wearing Stella McCartney's Maia Platform Wedge in Bone/Beige (pricey $735 at NeimanMarcus.com). They definitively elongate her legs and are perfect for Spring/Summer! It’s too bad I can’t wear open-toes to work!!

OMG, it also comes in Red! I'll have to look out for a "cheaper" version of these wedges when I am back on my "feet"! LOL =P

Also, did she get a shorter pixie-cut hairdo? I think it looks lovely on her!

I'm not dead! - 5/10/10

I have been going through some things but am so thankful that I am not dead! Without going into too much detail, I have been in the hospital and on meds. I am currently on bed rest but hope to be back to normal soon!

With that said, life is beautiful and I chose to enjoy it. As such, I have decided to create a “bucket list” starting with (slowly) reviving this blog! Here is my bucket list thus far:

1. Revive this blog! =)
2. Learn to play the piano – I’m starting to pick it up again!
3. Travel the world – This would require its own list! (To come later)
4. Attend a Fashion Show in New York (or Paris) during Fashion Week! I've actually attended a fashion show in Paris! BUT it wasn't a well-known designer's show =(
5. Pick up photography – I would love to take beautiful photos, enlarge them, and hang them in my house!

Life is too short to stress out. Life is too short to let it pass me by. There are major, exciting changes in my life! I hope that same for all of you =)

I wore this outfit on my Birthday. Birthdays are bittersweet for me.

Its not about getting old but more about..presents. I know! That sounds so lame!!

On one hand, I love anticipating “the best day of the year” (*wink*) but when MY day comes - I end up feeling disappointed. I think it’s hard for those who surround me to buy gifts for me.

It's bizarre because I think it’s so easy to buy me gifts! I always have a running list of items I want and, if all else fail, I LOVE CLOTHES!!! Gift cards are heaven!!

Anyway, back to the outfit! I adore the Glam/Rocker chic look right now! I love a feminine outfit with a touch of studs! STUDS are everywhere! I LOVE STUDS! ;)

Comic-Con in San Diego! - 7/23/2009 (Late Post)

Sooooo…My sister and I went to Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday, July 23, 2009 to see Summit’s New Moon Panel! That was almost a month ago but I remember it like it was yesterday! That day was so crazyyyy!!
.

Here was my schedule:

9:00 – I got to the convention center too late! The line was ridiculously long! I’ve never been in a line that long in my life! After 2 hours of waiting, we got our badge (after overcoming issues regarding my name). We then ran over to the Hall H line where the New Moon panel was to be shown.

11:00 – We got to the Hall H line & OMMGGG...The line was soo much longer than the badge line earlier. I couldn’t believe it!! Seriously, it was miles long! Comic-Con staff actually informed us NOT to get in line (TWICE!) because apparently there was NO WAY we would get in =(

We got in line anyway.. miles away from the entrance. We met some very cool people in line! Comic-Con staff came by (AGAIN) to tell the line that we’re not getting in. Many people leave the line but we stuck to it. The line slowly moved as I slowly melted in the heat.

After how many hours, we somehow get near the freaking entrance to the HALL!!!

1:40 –Summit was to start their panels at 1:45 – that’s in 5 MINS!! We got to the front of the line and were the 4th and 5th person. OMFG, they closed the Hall entrance doors. We’re SOL!! I almost started CRYINGGG!!

1:45 – FIVE MINUTES LATER, thanks to 2 certain people - we luckily got in. I believe we were the last two people to enter the hall. I really reallllyyy do felt bad for the others that stood in line and couldn’t get in. I was sooo close to being one of those. I would have been SAD for days =(

Inside Hall H:

1:46 – Once inside, there were NO SEATS for us!! Security tells us to go outside since we don’t have a seat and it is a fire hazard. YOU’RE ASKING US TO LEAVE???!! I don’t freakin’ think so buddy! We snuck our way to the front of the auditorium!! OMG, we were THISCLOSE to the cast!! LOLLL!

At the end of the day, I had an amazing adventure with my lovely sister. Oh, what a day! To top it off, our parking was supposed to be $20 but we ended up only having to pay $5! AND we parked extremely close to the convention center! HAH, what a freakin’ day! ;)

After all of that, I got:

1. Sunburned: I never got sunburned before!
2. A huge blister on my ankle from wearing new flats that day.
3. A huge SMILE for being able to experience something so amazing!

First of all, why do guys hate Target?? I love that place! I can wander and wander the aisles for hours! From Beddings to Lean Cuisines, they have everything there!

On the other hand, my BF is HATES Target. He is always in and out of there – giving me NO chance to shop! =(

On one of our rare trips to Target, I wandered into the shoe section.. and found these BLUE PUMPS!! I’ve been looking for blue pumps! In fact, I believe it’s on my “Wish List”. It was on clearance for $21!! Oh how I love bargain shopping! =)

Inspirational Songs Outfit - 7/2/09

I know I’ve been MIA, it’s been crazy busy at work. Hopefully, the craziness will now ease up and I can return to a “normal” schedule!

I am currently listening to and LOVE Miley Cyrus’ song – “The Climb”! It is such an inspirational song. Listening to this song motivates me when I want to give up (and I’ve been wanting to give up so many times during the last couple of months!). I love how songs like this can produce such a great emotion. These songs stick with me for life.

Speaking of inspirational songs – I am saddened by the news of Michael Jackson’s death. I grew up listening to his music and loved his dance moves. He inspired so many artists and was an extremely generous philanthropist. The list of greatness goes on and on. His brother, Jermaine Jackson, stated it best in an interview on NBC’s "Today" show that Michael as a “gift from Allah”. His death has impacted so many people and I feel compassion for his family. May you rest in peace, Michael Jackson =(

My favorite is – “Do you remember the time?” I also like “Heal the world”.

Ashley Greene (above) plays Alice Cullen (my favorite character!) in the Twilight Saga. I found this photo of her, looking gorgeous and donning a sophisticated statement necklace. That was when I remembered that Wet Seal had a similar style necklace! (Needless to say, I browse online wayy too much!)

Gift-Giving Guide: Boyfriend! – 6/6/09

My BF has to be the hardest person to give gifts to.

When giving gifts, I always end up having to think the most for this guy. It makes sense to do so (I guess), being that he is the most important person in my life! I always complain about how easy it is to think of gifts for my mom, sister, and even brother!

It is funny because when I tell people how hard it is to get BF a present, they'll start naming off stuff that I can get him..to which I always have a reason why I can't get it.

I’m sure you have someone similar in your life. BF is the type that has everything that he wants and never really "wants" anything. He is a “computer nerd” but I can't buy any technology gadgets because he claims that he can get a “better deal”. LOL!

He isn't into materialistic things such as a Louis Vuitton wallet or belt. He doesn't dress up enough for me to buy him clothes. Plus he has TONS of clothes but wears the same outfit everyday (not the same exact disgusting item, LOL!). The list goes on and on...

Here are presents that I have given the BF in the past:

On his 25th birthday, I got him 25 things. Items included video games, laptop bag, etc.
On a different birthday, I ordered expensive steak from a steakhouse he always wanted to try. I set up a romantic dinner setting at our home, pretending that I cooked it! LOL, he knows I don’t cook so there was really no pretending! I greeted him at the door, in lingerie! =P He very much liked both presents. He said that was the best present he received!
Tech gadgets – This is how I found out that I shouldn’t buy him "tech" items. He made me return ALL items that I purchased for him (cameras, video cameras, etc) because, as I mentioned, he claimed that he can get a “better deal”. Of course it's true, he can get a better deal. After all, that is his area of knowledge. I will stick to my clothes and makeup

As you can see, I have to use my imagination on this one! Anyway, this year's gift is just as hard (if not harder) than years before.

Here are a couple of items that I have in mind:
Bamboo Fun Tablet w/ Pen, Mouse & Graphics Software in Medium & Black - $200 at amazon.com. Ok, I admit – this is more for me than him! But I think being the computer nerd that he is; he would enjoy playing with it for a couple of days! Just like kids do when they get new toys!

I asked a friend whose fiancée is very similar to my BF what he would want. On his list were video game consoles (BF has ALL of them!), video games that are not-yet-release (won’t be able to get these without getting caught), and, lastly, a nice road bike. LOL, a BICYCLE?!!

I was laughing so hard because it was such a true statement. MY BF DOES WANT A BICYCLE!! But we can’t buy one because we live in an apartment complex with nowhere to store it. BF mentioned to me before that he wanted to go bike-riding one day!! I’ll be putting that one on my Blackberry list!

My secret? I keep a running list of gifts people want.

For example, the other day – my sister called me and says, “OMG, I just saw the coolest Twilight journal & I really want them!” (Right) Twilight Journals, $16.49 at amazon.com

I make a mental note and later put it in my Blackberry. Once gift time comes around, I have many items to choose from to give to her!

Moreover, I usually get great compliments such as, “I can’t believe you remembered that I wanted this!”

Hehe, now you know my secret! Shhh! Don’t tell anyone!

That being said, I decided to make sort of a “Gift-Giving” Guide. Watch out for some of these posts! Hopefully it’ll help someone out there! =D

I LOVE Sunflowers! - 5/31/09

My favorite flowers are SUNFLOWERS! I love sunflowers because it is YELLOW and bright! To me, Sunflowers are both beautiful and gorgeous at the same time! At my “Dream” wedding, I want my flowers to be Sunflowers mixed with Red Roses! o=)

My BF recently got me these Sunflowers to brighten my DAY!! He is simply the BEST! I am so very lucky to have such a wonderful man. These flowers surely did brighten my day! And the many days that it blessed me with its presence! I love waking up to such an exquisite sight! It really makes my day!

Now I am wondering if I should purchase Sunflowers every week to put in my bathroom! Ahh, it would be so lovely!

I just saw the trailer to “New Moon” on MTV's VMA and I LOVE IT!!

I love the setting of the Cullen’s house for Bella’s birthday. I especially love how Edward threw Bella across the room & how Edward threw Jasper onto the piano! Crazyyy! =P

I’m not sure how I feel about Jacob turning into what looks like a nice DOG more than a scary wolf!

I totally cannot wait for this movie to release!

Going to watch "Terminator Salvation"! - 5/31/09

We're going to the movies!

We’re going to catch the action flick, “Terminator Salvation,” with Christian Bale!

"WE" will consist of the BF, my little brother, & a friend!

Critics gave this movie a C+! We’ll see how it turns out! I really don’t like action flicks, but everyone around me does. I only watch it just to make them happy =P

By the way, movies are soo expensive!! What is up with that?! I missed the "early-bird" showing. which is about $5.50. That is the showing I usually watch to save money! LOL. I am now going to a "matinee" showing, which costs about $8.50!

Fergie attended Japan's MTV Video Music Awards on Saturday, May 30, 2009 in Saitama, Japan.

OMG, I LOVE HER DRESS!!! She perfects the Gorgeous, GLAM rocker-style! I love the color, I love the style, I love everything about her outfit!

The dress was stunningly created to look like a ribbon wrapped around her figure. OMG, the color! It’s a perfect rocker, electric-blue hue in a gorgeous, feminine silk-like material.

I LOVE her killer, FIERCE heels! She paired the strappy heels very well with the dress! Adding to the Glam-Rocker look! The heels are soo high! I LOVE them, makes her legs look a mile long! She is so gorgeous!

Gold Nine West Pumps Haul! - 5/30/09

I’ve wanted Tan Pumps for a while now. I even had it in my “shopping bag”! So when I recently went to Ross and found these Gorgeous Gold Nine West Pumps, I was…PUMPED!!

At $26.99 – the price was a little higher than I usually spend on heels. LOL, I am so spoiled! In any case, I’ve wanted this color/style for so long, so I am very happy with my purchase!

Also, the Pointy heels are so fierce. BUT I love BOTH rounded heels and pointy heels! I really can’t wait to wear these heels!

I really like the color. It is sort of a light gold (not too trashy-gold)/tan hue! It is a neutral color, perfect for days where I am too lazy to find the right heels for my outfit! Actually..those days, I tend to pick black heels! This will be a nice (lighter) alternative!

Side note: Certain Nine West styles don’t have high of enough heels for me! I think that these pumps fit in that category. But I don’t mind! These are perfect for work!

Hey! I thought to myself:

I’m totally being serious! I normally wear a tee & boxers to bed. And most often paired w/ a red tee! When I saw this picture, I looked down at what I was wearing & it looked similar, however, my boxers have pink & red stripes! LOL! I’m not a lingerie wearing gal. Although I have some for “special occasions” [;)]. I just feel more comfortable wearing THAT! =P

Apparently, Army Specialist Zachary Boyd, 19, of Fort Worth, Texas was rushed from his sleeping quarters after the unit came under fire from Taliban positions. (I can’t even begin to imagine how scary that is! =/) My favorite part, his boxers with the inscribed the message: “I love NY!”

I respect our troops & think that they are ALL so courageous to do what they do. If you are one of our brave men & women, I would like to say:

"New Moon" Movie Poster Released! - 5/19/09

My sister called me at 9:00 pm last night -- which interrupted my studying! =/

I normally don't pick up my phone, it being so close to my exam date (& she understands that) but I for some reason I picked it up. I first heard her apologizing for interrupting my studying (hah!), then she revealed the great news: The “New Moon” movie poster has been released!!

My thoughts on the poster?
What I really like is that Bella (Kristen Stewart) is not in the middle. I think that would have been too cliché!

When I woke up this morning to browse the regular sites (mostly gossip sites) that I usually browse &, WOW, I was bombarded by the poster! I mean, it was on every site! That along with this Robert Pattinson’s photo at the Cannes Film Festival!

So there, I have now “bombarded’ you with both, LOL!

Additionally, there are reports that Rob confirmed that he would be in Breaking Dawn (the final book in the series)!! OMG, Breaking Dawn is my FAVORITE book out the Series!! I am totally soo excited! I wonder when it would be released? 2011?? Wow, that seems so far from now..

Someone asked me what scene am I looking forward to most in New Moon? -- That is, if it makes it to the movie!

I’ll start with the scene I don’t want to see:
I really don't want to see Bella after Edward leaves her! I cried while reading that part! (My BF’s reaction: “Oh, Gawd!”) I think I'm going to cry for the entire first 10 minutes of the movie!

It's not because I think its a bad scene, by no means. I just like to watch HAPPY movies & don't like to feel unnecessary sadness!

The scene I want to see:
I'm going to cheat & want two scenes! The scenes happened to both Bella & Edward at different times.
.
It happened to Edward when he saw Bella before he was going to “reveal” himself (lol) & he thought he was dead:
“"Amazing," he said, his exquisite voice full of wonder, slightly amused. "Carlisle was right."

And it happened to Bella when she woke up after coming home from Italy:
"Oh, crap" I croaked. My throat was thick with sleeping.
"What's wrong, Bella?"
I frowned at him unhappily. His face was even more anxious than before.
"I'm dead, right?" I moaned. "I did drown. Crap, crap, crap! This is gonna kill Charlie."

A couple of quotes from the book that I liked:
Happiness. It made the whole dying thing pretty bearable.
Edward: "So maybe this is hell. I don't care. I'll take it."
Bella: "Obviously not. If I was in hell, you wouldn't be with me."

And I LOVE this:

Wow! I am naturally intrigue by anything that refers to Astronomy! My name actually translates into a celestial object! I’ve always loved the meaning of my name. Moreover, there is sort of a Romeo & Juliet story to my name!

SWOOONNNNN! I really can’t wait until this movie releases! If you know me at all, I can’t wait for anything! I am too impatient! =P

Vacation to..think about work?? - 5/18/09

Today marks the first day of my 2-week vacation! I am taking vacation to…study for my exam! This will be my third exam (out of five) before I am “certified”! I am hoping to complete it this year! Yippee!

Why in the world would I want to *think* about work during my vacation?? I even dream about it!! It is just all too typical of me to think about work when I don’t have too! Sometimes, I think I need therapy for this problem. =/

The funniest thing is, when I don’t have to go yo work – I tend to naturally wake-up earlier! I usually wake-up at 7:30am but that is after my BF drags me out of bed! But when I don’t have to go to work, I (of course) naturally wake up at 6am! Most of the time, I force myself to go back to sleep. And other times, I take advantage of waking up earlier!

Anyway, more posts on my many shopping trips to come soon!

I have been feeling like my clothes have been so boring lately! I need some texture in my life! When I saw this Tweed Jacket in Purple from H&M, I immediately knew I was going to buy it. My sister, on the other hand, questioned my choice. I informed her that because my attire is limited, due to where I work, when I find something that POPS without little effort – that is a GEM!

This jacket will go great with most of the slacks I own and, more importantly, great with jeans that I can wear on the weekend! I love pieces where I can just throw on with little thinking & look great! I feel like this jacket will accomplish that!

The shade is a cute Lilac color that will spice up any bland outfit! I really like the large buttons as well!

Nine West Heels Haul (Ross) – 5/1/09

I stopped by Ross a couple of days ago and picked up these super cute Nine West Heels! These heels are soo comfortable! The back part of the heel is made of a stretch material. I’ve never seen these on heels! I’ve seen them on flats, however.

Anyway, what do I love about my new heels? You’ve probably guess... its the neat detail in the front! I LOVE anything that is simple, yet there is one thing that makes it POP! These heels are absolutely adorable!!

These heels are a light, shimmery gold color. The gold color is very subtle, enough for me to wear to the office!

Work, study, live life. Where is my Balance?

Sure, some people take to the gym, hike, rollerblade, etc. Others spend time with their kids. Many go out and party like its 1999, er 2009.

Me? I find my balance when I SHOP. Is it really hard to understand??!

One of my bosses (boss #10) asked a group of us the question above, in an attempt to “get to know us”. I hesitated to mention that I SHOP! You see…It’s hard to explain this phenomenon to non shop-a-holics. They think of shopping as a daily task or even a chore. yikes!

Why should I even bother trying to explain the great feeling I get when I find something soo cute, ON SALE?? Or the feeling I get when I drop into a store to browse & find that everything is 75% off! Or the best feeling -- when I come home from a day of successful shopping - I unload my “gems” in my living room to take pictures of it to post here! Ahhh, what a wonderful feeling! LOL!

Sometimes I get the feeling that people (especially “business people”) look down upon people who enjoy so-called “superficial” things such as fashion & shopping. Would they rather I read the Wall Street Journal or watch CNN all day. Or better yet, play GOLF! =/

In any case, I’ll say "I study" with a smirk -- Knowing that I will go shopping later that day to report my finds here on my blog. Where people appreciate it! LOL! =P

This Haul occurred a couple of weeks ago. I’m a little behind on posting! I love it when Old Navy has 50% off clearance items! I especially love it when there are actually nice items available for sale – in my size!

Blue Ribbed Tee – I love this regular tee for both work & play! I can wear it under a business suit or with jeans!

Hot Pink Cardigan & Matching Short-sleeve Sweater (purchased separately) – I like this bright color! Makes me smile =)

Striped Long-sleeve Button-up Tops– These are my Fav! I believe two of the three were $5 each!! OMG, I scored BIG on these. I totally love these for days I am too lazy to figure out an outfit! It’s easy (and professional-looking) to throw one of these on with matching slacks & call it a day!

Banana Republic Work Pants Haul! – 4/11/09

I purchased more work pants from Banana Republic! Each were about $15-$20. I forgot how much I paid because I lost the receipt!

I can never get enough pants! Especially in basic colors such khaki, black, & brown! I love them in all different lengths!

The worst part of purchasing pants is hemming them =(

First, I hate spending $10 to hem my pants!
Second, I don’t have the time to drop it off & pick it up!!

Anywhooo..

Btw, have you done your taxes yet?? I keep seeing signs around town indicating “The End is Near” – advertising for tax preparation establishments! So funny!

I love designer Jeans! The worst part of purchasing designer jeans is the outrageously high prices! Fortunately for sales, I am able to fulfill my desire for designer jeans!

I normally purchase jeans at Nordstroms or Saks (sale racks or their outlet stores), Kitson sale (I had a horrible experience at Kitson & will never purchase from them again), & even Costco!

Do I only purchase Designer Jeans?

Yes, I only purchase designer Jeans. I don’t wear jeans often but I will only purchase designer Jeans because I feel better in them and I like them. Simple as that!

Obsessed w/ the Twilight Saga! - 4/5/09

Can someone tell me why I am soo OBSESSED w/ the Twilight Saga??

It all started last Saturday, when I first watched Twilight the movie. I admit I was worried it would be filled with teen-drama but I was wrong. It quickly grabbed my attention and I was hooked!

So hooked that I HAD to read ALL the books! I finished the last one last night and I am longing for more!! OMG, what is wrong with me?? Why am I so obsessed??

I think that the Twilight Saga is such an entertaining (and very addictive) read! I’ve been talking about it so much that I’ve gotten them all my friends and family hooked too! I’ve been reading every detail Stephanie Meyer’s (the writer) website (link here)! I just can’t get enough Twilight (and the rest of the series)!

I think I like it so much because I feel like there is so much depth to what was being written. People interpret books/movies differently & this book really got to me! I really like that it is a classic love story with a strange (vampire) twist, LOL! Also, I felt a connection to the characters. I wanted to learn more about them as I read & maybe that was the reason why I read into the wee hours of the night (or morning) even though I had work the next day!

My favorite character is not your typical Bella, Edward, or Jacob answer.. I really liked Alice’s character! I felt that she was very loyal, as a friend & a sister. The best part is that she was really into clothes & fashion! LOL, that fact definitely made me like her even more! I can’t wait to see Bella’s wedding dress or for the closet scene in Breaking Dawn (if that is made into a movie!). Better yet, I can’t wait to watch ALL of the books be turned into movies!

Now I feel a little sad because I don’t have more to read! It was soo nice looking forward to reading it every night and now I have nothing… Waiting for Midnight Sun.. Please Stephanie Meyer! Hurry and finish that book! I’m OBSESSED! =P

Someone asked me the most random question today: “Do you always wear a Belt?”

I found it amusing but when I seriously thought about it..the answer made me think..

Why DO I wear belts so often?? So often enough to get this random question!

Let me count the reasons:

Belts make a drabby outfit look livelier! I love wearing a “plain outfit” and
splashing a bit of color with my belt!
It can create an illusion of a figure.
For example, a waist belt can create an illusion of a smaller waist, if worn
correctly.
And, of course, its intended use: To keep your pants where it
should be!

Victoria Secret Haul! – 3/22/09

I went a little underwear crazy. LOL! About 99% of my underwear was purchased from Victoria Secret. I guess I never really shopped anywhere else for underwear. I really like to shop at Victoria Secret when they have great sales!

So..I purchased 14 pairs of underwear! They are having a 7 for $25 sale! On top of that, I received $5 off when trying on their new bra, "The Perfect One"! So 7 undies for $20!

BUT WAIT! There’s more! They are also giving away Secret Reward Cards with every purchase! OMG, what a deal!

For those who don’t know what the Victoria Secret “Secret Reward Card” is – it’s like a gift card, with a minimum of $10. But if you are LUCKY, the Secret Reward Card may contain $20, $50, $100, or $500!! OMG! I’m never lucky with anything! Actually I told my sister that with my luck, I wouldn’t be surprised to get $1 instead of the minimum $10! (Of course there is $10 but I'm just saying!!) LOL! =P

I’ve caught the BUG! The flu bug that is. I usually don’t get super sick, where I have to stay in bed and take medicine. I get the sick where it lingers on & is just annoying! For instance, right now – I have half of a stuffy nose, am congested, & have a headache! Oh yeah..and I am super tired..but what is new with that?! =P

Happy Sunday!

I had an unusual weekend. I didn’t work, even though I was supposed to! I played a little bit of a rebel but needed the relaxation! Now I feel guilty so I am trying to get my head off the subject!

I wanted to custom-frame a poster for my BF so I went to Michael’s to purchase a frame and gosh darn-it, frames are so darn expensive! The total for my custom-frame w/ a custom mat was $190! That’s after a 40% discount!! I ended up purchasing the custom mat for $33 and an off-the-shelf frame for $25 (after 40% off) = Total of $58! It is NOT as nice as the custom-frame would have looked (it was black w/ RED accents!) but this should suffice!

Anyway, I open up the Sunday ads and find a 50% off coupon for Michael’s so I will be making a trip there to return the frame, which I purchased for only 40% off to re-purchase it for 50% off. Shhhh, don’t tell them!

I took another NAP today! Can you believe it? TWO Sundays in a row! It feels soo gooodd! I love it!

On to watching Desperate Housewives and Celebrity Apprentice!

How To: Shop the Clearance Racks!

I love shopping the clearance section & outlet stores but realized there is a lot that you have to look for when shopping the way I shop! I (quickly) put together some helpful hints for the next time you shop the clearance racks:

1. Check for Missing Buttons: I always check to see if all buttons are present. If a button is missing and I really like the item, I check to see if an extra button is attached. Buttons are very easy to sew back on!

2. Check for Stains: Stains are always a NO-BUY for me. Some stains to check for:
> Neck stains – If people try on the shirts, neck stains may result. This is grosses me out!
> Crotch stains (gross I know!) - Usually located inside trousers. This occurs when girls try on trousers when wearing no underwear. Super gross! Come on people!
> Lipstick stains – The most popular stain. I hate it.

3. Check for Damages & Other Irregularities: Take the time to look at the item you are about to purchase! Check for loose threads, missing attachments (for example some items come with Belts & it could be missing), etc.

4. Check the price! This is a No-brainer! Price is important!
> If there is no price tag, ask an employee to check the price! You never know how much it is going to cost & some stores offer a discount because no price tag was attached to the item!

5. Sort! I always grab everything I like from the clearance section then I go to a nice quiet area to rummage through my stack.
I usually make 3 stacks:
a) YES!
b) Maybe's &
c) No way's.

I immediately put the No-way items back on the shelf.

I put the Maybe items on top of my stack. When I reach the cashier, I check the prices on the Maybe items first. This is to see what the final price is or if there are any additional discounts.

6. Smile! I go home a HAPPY Shopper! =)

I usually only purchase cotton tops because other fabrics (especially polyester) just do not mix with my chemistry! In other words, I don’t like way it feels when I sweat (not that I sweat a lot!) and I don’t like the way it smells either (not that it smells bad!). I’m not getting far with this explanation..lol! I give up..

Anywhoo.. I recently purchased this top & I believe that it is silk (or some combination of). I am trying to wear other fabrics since that's where all the cute tops are made out of!

I love this top because it is easy to pair with simple black trousers (which I recently realized I do not have any of!) or a simple black skirt! I love the puffy sleeves & ruffles! Such a cute top!

TAKE A NAP Outfit! - 3/8/09

I really hate being busy all the time. I really can’t enjoy life or even sleep well! I’ve been working lonnggg hrs (last night, or should I say this morning, I worked until 4am!). There was even a day where I went without eating lunch or dinner! Omg, I will NEVER do that ever again!!

Today, I forced myself NOT to be busy. I even took a NAP today! I am soo against naps! Don’t get me wrong, I love TAKING naps but I don’t take them because I don’t have the time nor do I want to waste the time! Back to my nap: WOW, it felt GREAT to fall asleep during the day!! I feel soo refreshed! Ready for another 60 hr workweek, lol.

Walking Zombie Outfit - 2/8/09

Hi Everyone!

OMG, I actually have ONE hour of free time & I am using it to blog!! For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working crazy hours & I think it’s finally easing off. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still working crazy hours but just not 9am to 1am hours like I have been!! I’ve been a walking zombie!

Anyway, I went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago & here are the results:
2 Cavities
2 Loose Fillings
3 Wisdom teeth that needs to be extracted

Total of $1500! That’s after insurance coverage! OMG, how am I going to afford this??? I will be fixing my cavities first. My cavities are very small so I would like to fix it before it gets worst.

The wisdom teeth can wait until next year.. Sighhhh..

Speaking of dentist visits, have you guys seen "David after the Dentist" video (Linky)?? OMG, its hilarious!! I've been watching it soo much because it makes me laugh sooo hard! I love it. =P

I bought these really cute Chinese Laundry Heels for my sister for Christmas. I totally love them soo much! I wish I bought one for myself!! I totally regret not buying one for myself. These strappy heels are soo cute & the studs make it look so fierce!

I bought these heels for only $13! The best part was that I had already given my sister her present earlier in the week, so on Christmas Day she received another present! She was very surprised! I was excited to see her happy =)

I purchased these CUTE Guess Heels for $35!! A little on the pricey side (for me, at least) but I really liked the style so I was willing to pay a little more for it!!

I absolutely LOVE this style. It’s kind of rocker-ish yet classy at the same time. I can’t wait to wear these heels!! These heels would look great with leggings or skinny jeans; however, I never jumps on that style. In any case, I am sure that these will go well with my outfits!!

The material is suede and the color is a light Gray. I've been really into the color Gray lately! Gray's neutral tones matches with a lot of the items that I have!

I LOVE entrepreneurs & try to support them as much as I can! So when one of my blog readers, who happened to be the owner of “Oh What a Night Online,” informed me of her new online store, I was excited to see what the website looks like & what goodies were available for sale!

1. So many Options! I LOVE how there is so much to choose from on the Website. And the styles are super cute too! OMG, there is sooo much cute stuff available! You all know how much I LOVE dresses!! I wish I can buy them all!! =)

2. Great photos! There are many photos of the items with different angles! I like looking at many photos when I shop online and having multiple angle shots really help! I also love how the photo enlarges when you put your cursor on top of the photo!

Also, I like the mannequin. LOL, it's really weird but I like it when I see clothes on a mannequin because if it fits the mannequin it'll fit me! LOL..Very weird, I know!

3. Easy to Navigate Site: The Website is very easy to navigate! I hate it when websites are hard to navigate! Just a little pet peeve of mines. I give up easily when its hard to navigate!

Don't know what I am talking about? Try Zara's website (link here). That site really sucks.

4. Reasonable Prices for Brand Name Items! I totally think their prices are reasonable for Brand Names items. I LOVE affordability. LOL, who doesn't??!

5. New Heels are Coming Soon! I can’t wait to see what kind of Heels they’ll have in stock!!

6. And Lastly, as I mentioned above, I love to support entrepreneurs! Definitely a Pro on my list!

CONS:
1. Just a Personal Con: Although prices are reasonable for Brand Name clothes, I personally don’t like to spend so much on clothes. It goes with my blog theme: Stylish yet Inexpensive!

However, the clearance section totally makes up for this Con! Oh how I LOVE clearance!! The site's clearance section is awesome! It's not your typical, yucky (for lack of a better term!) clothes on clearance! There are actually CUTE items available & many of them too!! Link to the clearance items here.

Conclusion:
With soo many Pros and one not-even-Con, I really like this online store! I love almost every item on this website! I know I will definitely be checking the clearance section often!

Holiday Party Outfit! (Late!) – 1/18/09

This post is extremely late but I promised I would show my dress on the day of so here it is. I ended up begging my BF to take me to the mall an hour before the party started because I couldn’t find the other side to my Faux diamond hoop earrings!

At the mall, I saw similar Faux diamond hoop earrings at Icing for $25! Holy cow, I would never spend that much on earrings!! I was so disappointed to leave empty-handed! =(

As I was leaving the mall, I saw my last ditch effort to score accessories for the party: It was at Charlotte Russe.

I knew I was going to wear my BCBGirls Cheetah Print heels so when I saw Cheetah Print Hoop Earrings, I quickly grabbed it! Then I saw the sale: 2 for $8!! OMG, I grabbed a set of bangle bracelets (one of which was cheetah print!) and headed towards the cashier.

But then something stopped me: A cheetah print clutch…I stood there staring at it. It was $12 but I thought to myself, "Its only ONE night.. I will NEVER wear it again!" So I left the clutch. GOOD THING I DID!! Saved myself $12!! Sometimes binge shopping is no good!

Anyway, when I was at the cash register, it rang up to only $6!! I received $2 off for some reason! OMG, I was super excited and ready to party!

The party was super fun. My sister accompanied me and it was held at a fancy hotel. Everyone looked so gorgeous! We ate, danced, laughed, and had a lot of fun!

Wonderful Saturday! - 1/17/09

Hi Gals!

I had a wonderful Saturday!

First, I cleaned my bathroom. I love it when its clean!! It feels so good! I've been so busy that I haven't gotten a chance to clean it as much as I like to.

Then my sister & I went to the mall to do some major damage! I spent about $150!! Pics to come tomorrow!

I cleaned up my place a little bit more when I came home & even worked for an hour. (Had to squeeze it in!). After working, my BF & I headed to my mom’s place to watch UFC. I hung out with my family for 3 hours! It is always so much fun hanging out with the family & catching up!!

After leaving my mom’s house, my BF & I cruised the streets of our town. I always love to cruise! It is so much fun to people-watch!

Additionally, I ate soo much junk food today!! I ate cookies, chocolate-covered marshmallows, cupcakes, hot wings, and chips! I usually eat fairly healthy so this was wild for me!!

And that was my Saturday! I hope you all had a wonderful time today as well! =)

New Haircut - Sophia Bush Style! - 1/15/09

I got a haircut yesterday! My first reaction was I didn’t like it. I never like my hair, unless I wear extensions. My hair is never nice =(

But slowly I got used to it & now I like it!! I chopped off 6 inches and it feels sooo good to no longer have long hair!! I still have the habit of using a lot of shampoo..in time I will learn to use a dime size instead of a quarter size!!

Speaking of haircuts, why is it that I cannot find a good stylist?? I’ve jumped from place to place & have yet to find a good hair stylist!! What’s up with that?? I guess I’ve been unlucky in that department!

I didn’t bring a picture as an example to show the hair stylist. I heard that it is always a good idea to bring one with you because they might not interpret your description the way you interpret it. In any case, without a photo, I told the stylish to cut off 6 inches w/ long bangs in the front and layers in the back.

My haircut ended up looking similar to Sophia Bush's hair (pictured below)! Although my bangs are a little longer. I hate bangs that I can't put behind my ears! Anyway, I am having fun with my new length!!

I love buying Jewelry. Especially FAKE, Costume jewelry!

I don’t like to wear "real" jewelry because I am so irresponsible with my gems that I get scared of losing it when I wear it. I would rather wear fake and NOT worry!

I recently went on a little jewelry shopping trip. All jewelry pictured here are from Forever 21.

I bought this ring for only $4! I love how unique it looks!

This ring looks so simple yet distinctive with it's chain-like style. I LOVE this ring! It matches with almost every outfit! This ring was only $3! What a deal!

This necklace was about $8. It is one of my favorite necklace right now! It is soo chic-looking yet edgy at the same time!! I totally love this style. I want to go buy more!

Update on my tooth:
An update on my tooth, I think something is really wrong with it. I looked it up and there is a condition called “tongue thrusting”. I think I might have this and it might be making my tooth go bad!! YUCKKKy! =/

Hello! I’m back!

My tooth hurts!
My tooth has been bothering me soo bad lately. I have this bad habit of playing with a sharp part of my lower back tooth. It is such a bad habit! It makes my tongue sore!! Why do I do it?? I have noo clue. I think it has to do with stress… Anywhooo!

Layoffs Sucks!
Layoffs are always so sad. I’ve been through it before and am starting to feel that anxiety again. I feel so bad for anyone who has lost their job. My New Year’s Resolution!

I love starting the New Year with setting Resolutions. It gives me a chance to reflect my accomplishments during the past year and allows me to set goals (attainable ones!) for myself. So here are my 2009 New Year’s resolutions:

1. To be HAPPY! This is always at the top of my list. It most important! Attainable? Only if you put your mind to it!

2. To get all my XXXX that I am studying for! I can’t tell you what it is bc it would give away too much! But this is my priority this year! Hopefully, I will be there this time next year!

3. To save more money! I reached my goal last year!! I am going to try to double it this year!

4. After Goal #2 is completed, I would like to get my Masters’! So for 2009, I need to start getting ready for it by taking the GMAT & applying!

5. After Goal #2 is completed,, I would like to go to Japan or Italy! This might have to spill over in 2010 but I can plan it now!

One goal I wish I can put on this list is to purchase a home. But that is not attainable! Only a dream for now!

I can't believe its 2009! Anyway, I hope you gals have a wonderful weekend! You know where I’ll be! (in the library, just in case you don’t know!) ;)

Happy New Year Everyone! I was on vacation in Chicago during Christmas! We have pics later! I’ve been seriously MIA due to the holidays and another exam I have coming up (Jan 10th! Yikes!). I hope to be back into the swing of things after the 10th. I am scheduling a hair appointment after the exam!

Anyway, I hope you all had a very safe & festive holiday season. It is really sad to have it all fly by so fast. Its 2009! I really can’t believe it!

I apologize for the lack of updates and I HATE excuses but…..here is my excuse:

I’ve been somewhat feeling down. Not depressed but a little sad! This is out of the ordinary for the usually chipper me and I didn’t want to spread the sadness. Anywhooo, I’ve been feeling like myself again but I haven’t been able to take pictures of anything that I have purchased. AND TRUST ME, I’VE purchase A LOT!! =P

It’s all part of my emotional shopping! Anyway, so again I truly apologize for the lack of updates! I know that this month is going to be a crazy month for me. I have another major test coming up, a whirlwind vacation on Christmas Day, and not to mention family time! So these updates will be a little sporadic.

Here is my motivation speech to you:

HEY! If you want to do something, today is the day to get started! Put one foot in front of the other and get that process started. No matter what it is and no matter how hard it is; YOU CAN DO IT! Immerse yourself in whatever it is and know that it takes time. Don’t rush it. Know that during the process, it will be hard but don't give up! The rewards and benefits you see tomorrow will far outweigh what you are feeling today. =)

My mom, after owning her own business for more than 20 years, has decided to become a nurse! This is the advice I give her when she is feeling like she can’t accomplish something. And there is nothing that she cannot accomplish!

With only a couple of weeks left until my dreaded exam, it’s crunch time! I hope you gals won’t mind that I might be MIA for a little bit. Don’t fret; I will be back with plenty of outfits and stories. I am taking a long vacation to study starting today!

I stopped by Mervyn’s today since they are having a “going out of business” sale. Most items were 40% off while some were 50-60% off. I am waiting for it to be 90% off, LOL! They have some cute stuff but seriously, the reason why they are going out of business is because their prices are so darn high! Who shops at Mervyn’s?? Even WITH the discount, there was nothing worth buying.

I was looking at a jewelry box, it was $60!!! And it wasn’t a fancy jewelry box either! I could get a cute mirrored jewelry box at Things Remembered for $60! Sorry to say but I am GLAD Mervyn’s is going out of business. It was just a waste of space. Just my honest opinion. o=)

By the way, I’ve heard that Banana Republic is having a friends and family event right now! My sister went to the store and asked for a coupon and they gave her one! It was that easy. Unfortunately, I went shopping at Banana Republic last weekend, so I won’t be able to use the discount since I’ve already spent enough money!

It’s Election Day!! I get soo excited over the simplest things! I have been super excited for this day to arrive. I just voted and it took all 5 minutes to vote!

Right now I am glued on NBC! I can’t wait to see the winner of this contest and some other issues that I voted on. =)

There is something really funny about Election Day. People wear this “I Voted” sticker with such pride! I didn’t wear my sticker to work but everyone at work wore it and they wore it with this great honor. It’s something I can’t explain, it's just really interesting to experience.

Cleveland, Ohio Trip + Marriott Rant - 11/3/08

Here is my very late post on my vacation in Cleveland, OH!! Very random that I went there but I love going to different places!

Cleveland, overall, was an okay experience. People were friendly and the city is very cute. Not to mention clean!

I LOVED the lake. And the Gorgeous sunset!

Progressive Stadium..

I stayed at the Cleveland Airport Marriott (Marriott again!). I stayed for an entire week! Overall, my Marriott stay was on the poor side.

Here is why my stay at the Marriott was on the poor side:

Upon arrival, I was assisted by..lets call her “B”. She initially seemed pleasant. I learned no rooms were available for a couple of hours. I was kind of shocked because I had a reservation. But I didn't really care since I had a meeting to go to in less than an hour. I told her that I only needed a room to change into my clothes. She shrugged her shoulders at me, suggesting to me that she didn’t care! But then offered a restroom for me to change in.

After running my credit card through and giving it back to me, she randomly left without acknowledgment. I thought that she was going to tell me where the restroom was so I waited at the front desk.

She goes to the back and tells her coworker that she is mad at me. WTH?!!! I can hear her! MAD AT ME?? I never once gave her an attitude (I am always nice to everyone!), I felt super confused!! Helloo?? She didn't even tell me where the freaking restroom was!

When she returned, she was surprised to see me still there. I asked her what I should do with my luggage and she offered to take it into storage. Where the hell was I supposed to put my luggage?? OMG. Anyway, I was being nice to her but I couldn’t believe she had the nerve to say that to her coworker!

In the end, she tried to be nice again (maybe because she was thinking I heard her stupid comment, which I DID!).

My hotel room was unavailable, per the shuttle driver, because a soccer team was visiting and the maids could not clean all the rooms in time. Okkayyyy, but I checked in at 6PM-ish. Check-out/in time was 12, noon!!!

The bed looks nice but there was a stain in one of the beds! Gross! I took a pic of it but it came out too blurry..

I liked the showerhead in my room..

I ordered room service on Wednesday night:

Marriott Hamburger (Menu stated $13, I was charged $14) – “Crispy bacon, aged cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion service with a pickle and fries.”
Delicious!! Tasted like steak on a bun!

Strawberry Shortcake Dessert – This dessert was very tasty! I was too full to eat the entire thing but I wished I did!! YUMM!

Apple Martini ($9.50) – Tasty. However, I asked the lady who placed my order how much this would cost. She replied, “$6 or $7.” It was $9.50.

Cheese Pizza ($7.99) – NOT good! Lean Cuisine pizza’s are WAYYY better! =P

Turning Back Time! - 11/2/08

I like turning back time! I get to wake up earlier for a couple of days. Then somehow my body gets used to the time change and I get back to waking up late! Today I woke up at 6am!! Yippee for waking up early! =P

Here was my Halloween costume for work. Per usual, my head is cut-off so you can’t see the cute bandana I had on. You can see it on the stock picture here.

I know it looks like a regular outfit but the bandana really pulled this look together. You can’t really see it in the picture but the top had an imprint of skulls and bones. It was super cute!

Halloween was fun! I ate a lot of food & CAKE! Everyone in the office was dressed up! Cleopatra won Best Costume. I barely did any work. Great day!

Anyway, we also decorated our office today and it was super fun!! I get excited for the dumbest thing!

Story of My Life Outfit - 10/28/08

I was opening up my mail for the day and realized the story of my life!

Okay, so first I opened up an envelope from T-Mobile. I’ve been with T-Mobile for awhile now and recently purchased a couple of new phones from them (see post here). Anyway, they sent me a debit card for $100!! To spend anywhere I want!! OMG, that was soo cool of them. I seriously LOVE T-Mobile!!! Thank you T-MOBILE! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST =)

Then, I open the next mail. It’s my medical bill.

Quick background: I’ve been feeling very tired lately so I went to see the doctor. Turns out I have low white blood cells =(

BUT it cost $500 to find that out. OMFG. Excuse my language. I slipped into a depression for about 15 minutes until my BF pulled me out of it. Thinking about it now SUCKS!! I HATE health care costs! It is sooo lame that we have to pay so much just to see a doctor!!! WTH do I pay medical insurance for each month?? It doesn’t cover anything!

Anywhoo, story of my life is when something good happens to me, something bad happens 5 times worst!

Oh well, at least I have my health and a wonderful boyfriend. That’s all I need in life. Money is nothing compared to those two. I would like to wish you ladies well too =)

MAC Holiday Brush Haul! - 10/25/08

I’m soo excited!! I went to Nordstrom today to scope out the MAC brushes that were just released. I thought they were going to be $50 but they were onlyyyy $35!! So I bought 3 sets, LOL. =P

Actually 2 sets are identical (Basic brush set) and the Face brush set. I didn’t buy the 3rd (Eye)set because I purchased a similar set last year..

I LOVE MAC brushes!! Especially Limited Edition ones because I can take them with me when I travel and not really worry too much about them!! I’m so excited about these brushes! I LOVE that they are RED!!

Disliking Aldo Outfit! - 10/22/08

I’ve been so tired lately! Waking up tired is the worst feeling and it seems like I wake up tired everyday.. My next doctor’s appointment is in November and hopefully they don’t find anything too bad from my blood test. =(

You can’t really see heels in today’s outfit, so I snapped a picture of it on its own:

The heels are from Aldo. I have a rant about Aldo: I own 2 pairs of Aldo heels and both do not fit me! One is size 6 and the other is Size 5. I am a 5 ½ (Yes, I have small feet).I hate that Aldo doesn’t offer half sizes. It really annoys me because they have such cute heels! I don’t even bother shopping there anymore because of this fact!

Nonetheless, I still wear the heels even if it doesn’t really fit.. I know it’s bad for my feet but they are soo cute! Actually, for the size 6 heels..I even bought slip-in soles to provide a better fit; it still did NOT work!

I got off work early today! To do what???.......... Waste time.

That’s right, I waste time during my time off. It’s all my couch’s fault for being so darn comfortable! I almost fell asleep at 6pm!

It’s now 8pm and I am trying to get my butt studying! It’s soo hard to study after a day’s work. Boohoo, whine, whine whine. Get over yourself!! Okay, I’m talking to myself..I really need to stop!

I ate a YUMMMY chocolate bar today!! If you are confused, you should be. I have been trying to eat healthier but today was a set-back. I ate a whole See’s candy bar (TOFFEE, my fav!). I also ate a small Butterfinger's bar and a Reece’s. Gosh, candy everywhere!!

I wore my new Black Cardigan from Banana Republic today! I like the cardigan but I got a little frustrated at the dumb buttons. They are so hard to un-button! It’s because they decided to make the buttons the same material as the cardigan, making it harder for the buttons to glide out of the hole!! Arghh! The frustrations I go through. It took a whole 3 minutes to unbutton the darn thing! Anyway....

I got these Bracelets & Simple Hoop Earrings some time ago! I am obsessed with jewelry! These items are so cute!! I love simple hoop earrings, especially on days when I am in a hurry and want to just grab anything to wear!

Also, I can’t believe it’s near the end of October already!! Next thing you know, it’ll be 2009! I have big plans for this Holiday season! I am going to be traveling to a couple of domestic locations, Get a lot of shopping in...Oh yeah, and sight-see as well. =P Will keep you all updated..

Old Navy Haul - Part 1 - 10/18/08

I heard about a $2 Deal at Old Navy so I had to check it out!! The store opened at 9:30am but I got there at 9:15. There was a Marshalls next door that opened a little bit earlier so I stopped in and saw some True Religion jeans there! I was soo tempted to buy one but I know I have too many jeans and I rarely wear it so.. I had to pass =(

Anyway, BACK to Old Navy. When they opened, I immediately went to the $2 racks and, at first look, I was disappointed at what I saw. There were only 2 small racks! I started digging and found some items in my size! AND they were cute! I was soo happy!! =)

The BEST PART: I saw a sign that indicated an extra 50% on top of the clearance price! OMG, all these items were purchased for only 0.99 cents each!! Can you believe it??!!

I was browsing Kim Kardashian’s blog before trying to get myself to study and saw this gorgeous (ok, when is she NOT gorgeous!) picture of her. I absolutely LOVE her dress. OMG, and her heels!!

I think I’ve mentioned in a prior post that I rarely wear jeans due to the nature of my employment (we’re very conservative).

Here is a rare picture of me in jeans. I was in a dentist’s waiting room reading about my favorite artist, Mariah Carey (when she married Nick Cannon)! I know, this picture is a little old!!

At any rate, I purchased my True Religion Jeans at COSTCO for about $110! I loved it soo much that I purchased two, “just in case”!

True Religion jeans are my favorite brand of jeans. I love the way it fits! I also love the classy/grungy look!

I purchased this new XOXO Dress from Ross and it is now my favorite dress!!

I love this dress because it is stylish and fun yet polished and professional! Perfect for work!! I like the skinny belt that it came with; however, I might switch it out and wear it with one of my other skinny belts!!

Also, I LOVE animal print! I don’t care if it is “in” or “out”, I will always love me some animal prints! Fake ones of course! I care for animals too much to wear real prints =(

I love it when I find a gem at Ross! It gives me such a great feeling!!

I’ve figured it out: All I can do is be there for her and listen to her when she needs me. And that is the best thing I can do for her during these times =)

I’ve been trying to eat healthy lately & it is so darn hard!! I find myself fantasizing about yummy Snow-Balls! I LOVE junk food! Unfortunately, I have to stop eating junk food because I am trying to live a “healthier” lifestyle.

Anyway, I totally messed up my “diet” today by eating a slice of CAKE!! OMG, I love cake!! I can never say “No” to cake. =( Speaking of which, I wish I had cupcakes right now..And Cheeto’s..And Fries..OMG, I have to stop!! Self control!

I got another massage today! Oh man, massages feel so relaxing! I LOVE them just as much as cake. And that’s why I had both in one day! Sweeeeettt=P

I just purchased these cute JoeyO heels!! I love the shoe lace with a bow-tie detail; it makes the heels look so sweet & adorable!

These heels have a neutral palette color combination, which is perfect for work. I would love it to be in spunky colors because it would match my personality more but hey, I can't complain!

I purchase my heels for only $15.99!! It’s amazing to see so many JoeyO heels at Ross!! Ross also carried Marc Jacob and Ralph Lauren heels at about $30+. Really cute heels but nothing I really, really wanted.

You know what else I love about these heels?

It looks unique! Not some boring ol’ pumps! I know I have many of those!! These heels will liven up my outfits! =)

I recently attended a friend’s small wedding. I had a post on 3 dresses that I narrowed my choices down to (see more on post here). I chose to wear this CUTE brown dress!!

I was looking through Kim Kardashian’s blog and noticed a similar dress! Granted she “fills” in her dress a lot more than I do! Gosh, I love her ta-tas! =P

Anyway, she is wearing a turquoise "super hero" dress by Mara Hoffman during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel.

As for my dress, it was created by my dressmaker! She is fabulous at creating anything I want!! I didn’t copy Kim’s dress because I didn’t even know it existed (I had the dress made a couple of months ago)! In any case, the two dresses look very much alike!

The Ex List! Review - 10/4/08

I watched “The Ex List” on cbs.com and it is a pretty good show!

I hope this show does well because I would like to see more of it! It is such a CUTE show! Funny too! =)

I really liked the first episode. It's Bella's quest to find true love. I have a hunch her recent ex-boyfriend might be “the one”. I’ll keep watching to find out what happens!!

I just really hope that this show is not a “one-season” wonder: where it shows up for one season and just leaves me hanging! Ughh! I am so sick of shows like that: Cashmere Mafia, What about Brian?.. The list goes on.

If you guys have the time, this show is super cute and I would recommend watching it! I really like their laid-back beach vibe. I also really like how Bella rides a bike everywhere! She is super cute! Here is a link to the show on cbs.com: Linky

I just got a haircut – just a trim with long, side-swept bangs.
I love the feeling of getting a haircut! For some reason, I always feel lighter!

I also had deep conditioning on my hair which made it feel so silky & soft! Ahh, the joys of self-indulgence!

There was a Marshall’s nearby; I had to stop in. I have been hearing that they carry designer jeans such as True Religion! That particular Marshall’s didn’t have True Religion Jeans but they did have Paper Denim & Seven for all Mankind Jeans! In size small too! (Which is extremely rare!)

I also bought this little bottle of Biolage Silk Therapy. I love the smell of this product & it makes my hair so shiny & soft!! This little bottle will last me probably a year!

I absolutely loveee Biolage!! I use their shampoo & conditioner as well. In fact, I buy it by the gallon!! =P

It’s October! Gosh, this year has gone by so fast!!

Ross Haul: Rich Hue Dress! – 9/30/08

I bought this cute dress at Ross for only $17.99!!

The photo makes it look like a shirt but it is a dress! I love the Rich color and the gorgeous design. I think that this Rich Brown hue is a perfect shade for Fall! I also love the collar of this dress! The design is a little busy but I plan to add a cute cardigan to play it down for work.

Note to self: Do I have a brown cardigan??? LOL

The dress itself is loose fitting; however, a belt can make this dress form well!

Now if only I can find a cute (& inexpensive!) skinny gold belt! Search is still on! If you ladies find one, please let me know! =)

Nordstrom’s Rack Trip – 9/29/08

I stopped by Nordstrom’s Rack today during my shopping trip. I really like going to Nordstrom’s Rack, however, it is a bit of a drive for me so I don't go there often.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet!), I did not purchase anything. I was looking at True Religion Jeans. It was about $100. I was standing in line (loonngg line) to purchase a cute pair but then realized, “Wait a minute, I don’t wear jeans!”

I rarely wear jeans because my work does not allow it. If allowed, I would wear jeans everyday! I have soo many jeans in my closet right now that I haven’t worn in more than a year!! Poor jeans..

Ok, so I think my new favorite character this season will be Susan (played by Teri Hatcher). She was dressed so cute! And she seems to be super strong, yet very weak at the same time. I really feel for Susan’s character.

Eva Longoria-Parker's character, Gabriele, I am not liking too much. I know motherhood can really change a woman but I just don’t like what she has become. Kind of frumpy... I wonder if she'll ever go back to becoming the "old" Gabby?

Edie’s husband, what a character he is!! He feels like bad news, looks crazy, & feels scary! The storyline unfolded new drama with him! I wonder who he is out to get??!! Gosh, I hate waiting to know!

I can’t believe Danielle took her baby back from Bree. AND Danielle is married?? To a lawyer?? Wow.

Seriously, this show is so freaking good!! I absolutely loved every minute of the show. Everytime the BF wanted to talk to me, I said, “SHHH, please wait until commercial!” Do not interrupt me when I am watching this fantastic show!
